Fashion Design Contest
Elizabeth Bennet, Jo March, Anne Shirley, Matilda Wormwood, Coraline Jones – just a few of our favourite literary heroines. For this year’s fashion design contest, BlytheCon UK challenges you to create *your* favourite literary heroine in style. Your contest entry should be designed and constructed by you. Minimal purchased accessories such as bags, shoes, etc. are allowed, but the bulk of the entry should be of your making. Methods of construction are up to you: sewing, knitting, papercraft: your imagination is the only limit.
Present your creation on a stock Blythe doll (or Blythe dressform or headless stock body) at the event. No custom dolls or articulated bodies allowed. Open to all BCUK attendees. Entries should be dropped off by 11am on the day for voting by attendees at the event in Edinburgh . 🧵 🪡
Mini Me Contest
BlytheCon UK invites you to get creative and enter our annual Mini Me contest. Open to all attendees, this year’s theme is to come as a favourite book character or perhaps even your favourite book! You and your Blythe (custom Blythes allowed) should interpret the theme as creatively as possible. Voting will take place in the afternoon at the event. 📚
