Frequently Asked Questions
BlytheCon UK is the annual convention for Blythe doll collectors.
Our vendors come from all over the world, and you will find a variety of beautiful clothes, accessories, and dolls for sale. As a collectors event, counterfeit items of any sort are not available/supported. Any custom dolls for sale should clearly indicate the base doll used.
Of course, attendees may bring whatever dolls they can carry, and it is not unusual to see BJDs, vinyl toys, and more!
You will also find educational and exciting workshops/talks, competitions, and lots of other fun activities. A detailed event schedule will be available online ahead of the event.
Tickets go on sale early 2024. Visit the tickets page for more information and to purchase your ticket(s).
Standard tickets include event entry, goodie bag, and access to workshops. Please note that some workshops may be 16+ only for health and safety reasons. All minors must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Under 12s tickets do not include goodie bags.
For the daytime event, there is no minimum age, but any minors MUST be accompanied by an adult guardian. If there is a question about a name on a ticket, we may request photo ID. For any evening events, the minimum age is 18+ and the venue may request that you verify this with a photo ID.
A limited number of child/under 12s tickets will be available. Once these are sold out, they are sold out. Under 12s tickets do not include a goodie bag.
BlytheCon UK is intended as an adult event and best enjoyed by teens and adults. Children 2 and over require a ticket, but please bear in mind the environment of the event and your liability if choosing to bring a young child.
Tickets are non–refundable.
Should the event need to be postponed (for public health reasons, etc.), ticket-holders will be offered a transfer to the later event, which may be held in an alternative location or format (such as online). If a transfer is declined, no refunds will be given.
By putting the participation waiver directly on the tickets we are able to save paper and make the queue on the day move much faster. Because of this we need to make sure each ticket has an agreed waiver. This also helps keep the name on each ticket is correct. We know this makes ticket buying slightly more complicated, but it makes for a safer and happier day for all.
Personal information can be updated via EventBrite. Team BCUK will not be involved in any ticket transfers. Please exercise caution around secondary sales / ticket transfers as you would with any online purchase.
Tickets will be scanned on the door, so you will need to bring your ticket on your mobile phone/tablet or printed out. Digital is preferred. The information collected will only be used for your registration, and won’t be sold/shared with anyone else.
No. You may be asked to verify with photo ID.
