Every year we host several contests for attendees to take part in on the day – why not try your hand at our fashion, photography, or mini-me competitions and see if you can take home the glory (and a fabulous prize!)

Fashion: Cottagecore
It’s time to create your most fantastical forest fashion for the annual BlytheCon UK fashion competition. Lean into the cosy cottagecore theme in your design and share your creativity with the others at the BCUK 2026!
Your contest entry should be wholly designed and constructed by you. Minimal purchased accessories such as bags, shoes, etc. are allowed, but the bulk of the entry should be of your making. Methods of construction are up to you: sewing, knitting, papercraft: your imagination is the only limit.
Present your creation on a stock Blythe doll (or Blythe dressform or headless stock body) at the event. No counterfeits, custom dolls, or articulated bodies allowed. No use of AI. Open to all BCUK attendees. Entries should be dropped off at the contest table by 11am on the day for voting by attendees at the event in London. 🧵 🪡

How will you show off Blythe with some magical forest vibes? We want to see your creative snaps for the 2026 BlytheCon UK photography competition!
Rules: participation is limited to those attending BlytheCon UK 2026 in London; up to 2 photos allowed per entrant; post on IG with #bcuk2025photo and tag @blytheconuk(photos will also be accepted by email); photos due by 26 September 2026; only genuine Blythe dolls allowed (stock or custom); creative editing is allowed, but AI is not; finalists will be selected ahead of the day and attendees will vote for the winner at BlytheCon UK 2026 on 3 October. 📷🍄📷
Mini Me: Wondrous Woods
There’s nothing more whimsical than matching with your doll and the BlytheCon UK Mini Me competition is your chance to do just that!
Open to all attendees, you and your Blythe (stock or custom Blythes allowed, but no counterfeits) should don your best matching outfits following the theme to take part! How will you show off your forest flair, your mushroom magic, your cottagecore cuteness? Voting will take place in the afternoon at the event. 🍄🦔🍄
